Vicksburg Band leader/Bass Guitarist Mr. Moses Brown is still going strong after 36 years; the southern funk style rhythm and blues band is based out of Vicksburg, MS, which is Moses’s hometown. The Projekt Band has release 5 albums and is not just an opening act anymore; you will see that the outstanding show will speak for itself! The band has performed and opened for with Bobby Rush, Chuck Strong, Sir Charles Jones, Tucka, LJ Echols, Terry Wright, Ms. Jody, and OB Buchanan. The Projekt Band has 25 years of experience under their belt along with help from Too Sweet Productions; this rhythm and blues funk style band is on the way up. The band has also had a chance to play with traditional artist like Willie Dixon, Red Tops, and Artie Blues Boy White. Projekt also had a chance to play for the legendary Percy Sledge at the Alabama Blues Fest. Projekt has played back up for Bobby Rush, Ernie Johnson, Shirley Brown, Bobby Blue Bland (on several occasions) and the band has been a guest at several different casinos. The band leader, Mr. Moses Brown, is looking forward to taking the band to the next level. Brown is the owner of Brice Records and South Land Production Agency. The band plays a combination of covers from different artist such as Rihanna, Bruno Mars, The Gap Band, The Commodores, and Kool and the Gang, just to name a few. Projekt also plays their own singles Lay Me Down, Children of Today, and I’ll Be the Other Woman that is making its way through the Mid-South! The band consists of Bass Player Moses Brown, Drummers Michael, Malcolm, and Justin Brown, Keyboard Players Louis Morris, M Williams, and Donald Scott, Guitar players Mark Doyle and G Man, Lead Singer Debra Jackson, Background vocals Latoya Hood and Yvette Brown.
